Finances

The annual budget of the institutions working in Pataudi House, Darya Ganj and in Des Raj Campus, East of Kailash, is five crores of rupees. The Schools are government-aided. Some grant is given by the government and Municipal Corporation for the ophans/destitutes, living in the two campuses, but their major expenditure as also the resources required for maintenance of existing campuses and construction of new buildings, are met By generous donations. While some distinguished philanthropists give large sums for construction of new buildings, there are at the same time more than 9,200 subscribers who donate between Rs. 10/- and Rs. 5000/- p.m. Many donors arrange meals for. the inmates from time to time. Besides, we also get donations in kind viz. grains, pulses, condiments, clothes, blankets, wool, school uniforms, books, stationery, shoes, fruits, sweets etc. There are about another 450 yearly doners who donate more than Rs. 10,000/- and about 100 doners who donate more than Rs. 50,000/- on yearly basis.
